🇬🇷 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Annual General Assembly of the Chian Association of Canada!

Your presence, participation, and ideas are very important for the future and continuity of our Association. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces gathered together with the common goal of preserving and strengthening our Chian community.

We would also like to thank everyone who helped organize and prepare today’s gathering, as well as the Tholopotamian Society of Montreal "Saint Peter" for graciously allowing us to use their hall.

🇬🇷 Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλους όσους παρευρέθηκαν και στήριξαν την Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση του Χιακού Συλλόγου Καναδά!

Η παρουσία, η συμμετοχή και οι ιδέες σας είναι πολύ σημαντικές για το μέλλον και τη συνέχεια του Συλλόγου μας. Ήταν όμορφο να βλέπουμε τόσα γνώριμα πρόσωπα συγκεντρωμένα με κοινό στόχο τη διατήρηση και ενίσχυση της Χιακής μας κοινότητας.

Ευχαριστούμε επίσης όλους όσους βοήθησαν στην οργάνωση και προετοιμασία της ημέρας, καθώς και τον Σύλλογο Θολοποταμίων για τη φιλοξενία και την παραχώρηση της αίθουσας.

🇬🇷 Χρόνια Πολλά για τη γιορτή του Αγίου Ισιδώρου! 🇬🇷

Σήμερα, 14 Μαΐου, τιμούμε τη μνήμη του Αγίου Ισιδώρου, πολιούχου και προστάτη της Χίου και της μαστίχας.

Σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, οι σκίνοι της νότιας Χίου δάκρυσαν στο μαρτύριό του, χαρίζοντας στο νησί το μοναδικό “δάκρυ” της μαστίχας, γνωστό σε όλο τον κόσμο μέχρι και σήμερα.

Ο Χιακός Σύλλογος Καναδά προσκαλεί όλους τους Χιώτες και φίλους του Συλλόγου να παρευρεθούν στην Αρτοκλασία προς τιμήν του Αγίου Ισιδώρου:

🇬🇷 Happy Feast Day of Saint Isidore! 🇬🇷

Today, May 14, we honor Saint Isidore, patron saint of Chios and protector of mastiha.

According to tradition, the mastic trees of southern Chios wept during his martyrdom, giving the island the unique “tears” of mastiha that are known around the world today.

The Chian Association of Canada invites all Chians and friends of the Association to attend the Artoklasia in honor of Saint Isidore:

🇬🇷 Η Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση του Χιακού Συλλόγου Καναδά πλησιάζει!

Σας περιμένουμε όλους την Κυριακή 17 Μαΐου στις 2:00 μ.μ. στην αίθουσα του Συλλόγου Θολοποταμίων στο Λαβάλ, για ένα όμορφο απόγευμα γεμάτο κοινότητα, συζήτηση και συντροφιά.
