Ուրբաթ, 13 Մարտին, Սուրբ Գէորգ Երիտասարդացը հիւրընկալեց Սեմալին Պեթարեանը, որ խօսեցաւ «Palliative Care: Witnessing God's Presence in the Final Chapter of Life» նիւթով։ Սեմալինը կը գործէ Մոնթրէալի Jewish Hospital-էն ներս՝ իբրեւ art psychotherapist ։ Ան մօտէն ներկայացուց իր գործունէութիւնը եւ թէ ինչպէս արուեստի զանազան միջոցներով կը փորձէ հիւանդներու հոգեկան ցաւերը թեթեւցնել, եւ միաժամանակ յիշատակ ձգել անոնց հարազատներուն համար։ Ան նաեւ խօսեցաւ Աստուծոյ հետ իր մտերիմ հարաբերութեան մասին եւ թէ ինչպէս Աստուած զինք կ՛առաջնորդէ հիւանդներու խնամքի ծառայութեան մէջ։

On Friday, March 13, Youth of Sourp Kevork hosted Semaline Betarian who spoke about “Palliative Care: Witnessing God's Presence in the Final Chapter of Life.” Semaline works at the Jewish Hospital in Montreal as an art psychotherapist. She shared insights about her work and how, through various forms of art, she strives to ease patients’ emotional pain while at the same time helping them leave behind meaningful memories for their loved ones. She also spoke about her close relationship with God and how God guides her in her service of caring for patients.

Տեառնընդառաջի Տօնի կապակցութեամբ Յարութիւն Սարկաւագը խօսեցաւ տօնի խորհուրդի մասին եւ թէ ինչպէս տօնը կը վերաբերի մեր կեանքին։ Աստուած օրհնէ մեր երիտսարդները։
On the Feast of Dyarnentarach - Feast of the Presentation of the Lord to the temple, Deacon Harout talk about the significance of the feast and how it applies to our lives. God bless our Youth.

Շաբաթ 24 Յունուար, Սուրբ Գէորգի Երիտասարդացը կազմակերպած էր միօրեայ սեմինար “Ծառայութեան Կանչը” վերնագրով կեդրոնի միւս յանձնախումբերու վարիչ անդամներուն։ Ներկայ էին պատանեացի , կիրակնօրէայի և “Կաքաւիկ” երգչախումբի վարիչները։
Տէրհայրը խօսեցաւ օրուան հոգեւոր նիւթը՝ “Մարդու հոգին որպէս պարտէզ”, իսկ երիտասարդացի վարչութիւնը հերթականօրէն մասնակցութիւն ունեցան և իրենց գիտելիքները փոխանցեցին հետեւեալ նիւթերով` “Հաղորդակցութիւն առաջնորդութեան մէջ (Communications in Leadership), Վէճերու լուծում (Conflict Resolution) և Ծրագրային, կազմակերպչական և դրամական ծրագրաւորում (Planning, logistics & budgeting)։ Օրուան հիւրաբար մասնակցեցաւ պարոն Սարգիս Նոխուտեանը, որ հետաքրքրական խաղերով բացատրեց միութեան մէջ կազմակերպչական որոշումի կարեւորութիւնը։

On Saturday, January 24, Youth of Sourp Kevork organized a one-day seminar titled “The Call to Service” for the committees of Badanyats, the Sunday school, and the “Gakavik” choir.
The parish priest spoke on the spiritual theme of the day, “The Human Soul as a Garden,” while the youth committee took turns participating and sharing their knowledge on the following topics: Communication in Leadership, Conflict Resolution, and Planning, logistics, and budgeting.
The day’s guest participant was Mr. Sarkis Nokhoudian, who explained the importance of organizational decision-making within a team through engaging games.

The goal is to raise $2,000 CAD to help cover essentials like winter clothing, groceries, school fees, monthly rent, and gifts for the kids.

Christmas Giving in Action 🎄
Last Friday and Saturday were spent preparing 129 goodie bags filled with essentials and love for people without shelter.
We then headed downtown to distribute them, hoping to bring a little warmth to those who need it most this season.

We had a wonderful time joining the youth at Archangel Michael & Saint Mercurius Coptic Church for “Inhale Prayer, Exhale Sin.”
Dr. Fadi Abask shared a meaningful talk about addiction and faith, followed by great food, music, and fellowship.

Grateful for the chance to come together, grow in faith, and connect as one family in Christ. 🤍 .wingss
