⭐ Abraham is communicating with us! He knows how to write his name. We gave him a star to copy, and at first, it looked like scribbles. But we paid closer attention and realized he was telling us something: he wanted to hear a "Little Baby Bum" song.
We played it. He started clapping, excited because someone finally understood what he was asking for. That moment, when a kid realizes you actually get what they're saying, that's everything.

🐕 Aria and Torino are at a session with Jasmine. Torino's waiting patiently while Aria works through her occupational therapy. Once they're done, they get to play together.
That's the routine they've built. Torino knows what's happening, and he's calm because he knows what comes next. Dogs pick up on structure and consistency. When kids see that kind of patience, they settle in too.

🏡One of our kids, Shelley, spent years afraid to leave her home. Last summer, something shifted. She started going outside, started enjoying it. Winter hit, and the consultants stayed engaged, wondering if the progress would hold.
It did. Grandma's consistency through the cold months kept Shelley moving forward. Vanessa and Sarah were there supporting the work, but grandma's participation made all the difference. We are very proud of Shelly, her family, and our consultants for putting in the constant effort and work that has allowed these children to thrive!

👶🚗 Kasen's playing with a car track and learning basic sign language at the same time. We're using the colours, the words go, stop, and car to build his vocabulary. He's engaged with the track, picking up language naturally while he plays. The toy keeps him interested, and the language learning happens in the background.

Louise and Cynthia are playing with Lake, and what starts as therapy naturally becomes a game date. That's the whole point. When a child's engaged and having fun, the work happens without them realizing it.
Lake's building skills in speech and occupational development while doing what kids do best: play. Louise and Cynthia know how to blend the two so seamlessly that therapy feels like hanging out with people who get them.

Torino's working with Idan and Kylie to help Lyric with his balance. This therapy dog brings something to the session that you can't replicate any other way. Lyric engages differently, stays focused longer, and pushes himself harder when Torino's there.
The combination of skilled therapists and a dog who knows what they're doing creates real results. Lyric's building strength and confidence with every session. 🐕

Ensley's working through an ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire) assessment right now. It's one of those tools that gives us a real picture of where kids are developmentally. We get to see what skills they've already nailed and where they might benefit from some extra support.
The beauty of assessments like this is they're not about labelling or limiting anyone. They're about understanding each child's unique path and making sure we're giving them what they actually need to grow.

Christian's on our therapy room's climbing wall, working his way up. 🧗 He's got a lot of energy, and the climbing wall gives him somewhere to channel it. Every move requires focus, decision-making, figuring out where to place his hands and feet next. Hyperactivity becomes directed energy when you give kids the right outlet.
