The Prevention Services Unit is a community based Family Support Program, which places an emphasis on establishing community resources, which support families through preventative measures. This unit is located in the Family Support Centre on Fairchild Reserve. This unit enhances the services of the ICFS team in delivering prevention and intervention programs, by supporting and educating parents, strengthening families, and promoting an environment that supports and nurtures the well being of children and families of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
