The Consort Grade 12 students were pleasantly surprised to receive personal notes and gifts from the Grade 2 class this week, wishing them well as they graduate and move on from Consort School. It was hard to tell who was more excited - the givers or the receivers! 😁

A group of 8 students and staff from Consort School headed to Edmonton for our second trip to the Hope Mission shelter in Edmonton on May 25th. We helped with food preparation and serving the lunch meal almost 1000 people! We then headed over to the Tegler Youth Center where we packaged dry goods for family food hampers. It was an incredibly eye opening experience and we were so blessed to help serve at this amazing organization.

𝗪𝗢𝗪!!

It has taken us a week to fully recharge after our 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 & 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞: 𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 + 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 held at Morrin School on Wednesday, May 13.

Project REACH partnered with Starland County 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗦 to offer 𝟳𝟬(!!) local women the opportunity to delve into the complexities of perimenopause & menopause through engaging discussions with our four local panelists:

🌸Pam MacDonald, Naturopathic Doctor (Sacred Roots Wellness)
🌸Michelle Scott, RN, Certified Nurse Injector (Amplify Aesthetics)
🌸Erica Laycock, Client Health Educator/Supervised Exercise Specialist (Primary Care Alberta)

Following the panel discussion, participants built their own fresh floral bouquets to take home and enjoy.

During Mental Health Week, May 4–9, we had the opportunity to spend time outdoors enjoying the beautiful fresh air and connecting as a community. The community walks provided a chance to step away from daily routines, get active, and focus on the importance of mental wellness through movement, conversation, and time spent in nature. It was a positive and uplifting experience for everyone involved and a great reminder of the benefits that fresh air, physical activity, and community connection can have on our overall well-being.

Thank you to Tacabree Country for giving J.C. Charyk elementary, junior, and senior high students to go cup sleeves for our S-leave the Stigma Campaign! These are just some of the amazing designs that were handed out during Mental Health Week May 4 - 10, 2026!

Thank you to the Community Services Board for helping the Outdoor Movie Night Committee purchase our own equipment! This will ensure the event can run for years to come!

Last week was , and students & staff took part in our annual 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗜𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 throughout Prairie Land Public School Division!

Students & staff from Al Amal Academy, Altario School, Berry Creek Community School, Consort Elem-JrSr, Delia School, J.C. Charyk Hanna School, Morrin School, Veteran School, and Youngstown School helped us spread kindness and positivity while raising awareness for mental health.
