Hampton Rural Cemetery will be holding the Annual General Meeting on September 15, 2026 @ 7pm at The Hampton United Church, in the back room, called the Colborne room. It is the room behind the pulpit. The door to the left of the main doors is the door to use. All are welcome.

How many toonies can we collect today to help with the maintenance of our cemetery?

The grounds are looking beautiful, thanks to the ongoing care and dedication of our groundskeepers. Take a walk through the cemetery, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and see for yourself how wonderful it looks.

Every toonie makes a difference and helps us keep the cemetery a place of beauty, remembrance, and respect for all who visit.

FYI, earwigs love to hang out under the floral saddles. Birds such as Ravens, and vultures love to dig for the bugs, while tearing the floral arrangements apart. This is why the fake flowers are in a mess on the ground for the guys to keep picking up.
Some old faded flowers were removed today by me, Sharon, as they were looking pretty drab. Please remove flowers when they are looking old, faded, drab.

The boys have the cemetery in tip top beautiful shape. Brian & Sam are working Mondays to Thursdays and usually leave for lunch and then return. Dropping in with cold drinks or treats would be greatly appreciated. They are working hard to maintain this beautiful, historic, meaningful place of rest. Or just drop by to give them a thankyou, a thumbs up, a beep beep and a wave.
