Hampton Rural Cemetery

Did you know that several cemetery boards across New Brunswick are struggling because their volunteer members have aged out, and few people are stepping forward to take their place?

What happens when a cemetery board can no longer operate? Records may stop being maintained, important documentation can be lost, funds may eventually be turned over to the government, and the cemetery can become neglected and abandoned.

We do not want that to happen at Hampton Rural Cemetery.

If you have family members resting here, care about preserving local history, or simply want to give back to your community, please consider volunteering. Even a small contribution of your time can make a difference.

I am a fourth-generation volunteer with Hampton Rural Cemetery, and our board is aging. We need new members who are willing to help ensure this cemetery remains cared for and protected for future generations.
