Hampton Karate This page is for Hampton Karate Club. We are a not-for-profit organization that follows Chito Ryu. Hampton Karate has two semesters per year. February to June.

We meet Monday and Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30 at the Masonic Lodge (6 Church Street). Hampton Karate is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the practice of Chito-Ryu Karate following the policies and guidelines of the Canadian Chito-Ryu Association. The Hampton Karate Club is the longest running Chito-Ryu karate club in New Brunswick. Established in 1973 by Sensei Robert McInnes, the club finds its home at the Masonic Lodge on 6 Church Street. Classes are held twice a week on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Masonic Lodge (6 Church Street). Semesters:

September to January. Class Times:

6:30 to 7:25 Beginner belts (white and yellow)
7:30 to 8:25 Belts green and up

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Greater Saint John Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where our very own Sensei Robert McInnes will be honoured as one of this year’s inductees!

A number of us will be attending to celebrate this well deserved recognition of Sensei’s many years of dedication and contributions to karate and our community.

If you would like to join us in supporting Sensei on this special occasion, tickets can be purchased through the link below.

We are a family-friendly Traditional Okinawan Karate style being taught in Hampton for over 50 years.
Classes are starting Monday, September 14th. We do classes Monday and Thursday nights from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
*New Location* Our new location is 361 William Bell Drive @ Lifestyles Wellness Studio.
First 2 weeks of classes are free, so come see if you would like it. We do in-person registration, so just come to a class to join. Cost is $185 a semester. Our semesters are September to January & February to June. We take ages 5+ and adults. We do family discounts!
