‘Tis the Season is very happy to announce we had another wonderful turn out on December 6th!

Throughout the days events Caitlin Zalluski had 45 families for Santa photos.

The Glenboro Cat Rescue cookie fundraiser hosted at the library was a great success again with around 90 people purchasing cookie trays.

Christina Thornes Christmas themed family photos had over 15 families.

There were around 75 kids for the free Christmas movie, and any leftover goodie bags were handed out at the evening show and Sunday matinee.

The Legion had lots of action with their hot chocolate and hot dog fundraiser!

Sleigh rides took 12 full loads out on a tour of the Fair Grounds, and the warmth from the bonfire put on by the Fire Department was much appreciated while waiting.

The Hall was full with 36 vendors, and the Ag Society cake raffle was well attended and greatly appreciated by all who won a yummy treat!

All prizes were picked up by end of the day and Sherrie Campbell won the 50/50 draw.

And even on such a cold night the Santa Parade brought joy to those who came out to watch!

We are also very proud to announce that we were able to donate $1000 each to Sara’s Pantry and Glenboro Christmas Cheer this year from the Prize/Basket Raffle! These funds will be able to help ease the strain for families around the Holiday Season ❤️

📣We have a ‘Tis the Season emergency!📣

👏🏻 UPDATE WE HAVE FOUND SANTA! 👏🏻

Our Santa has gone AWOL. We have tried to follow up with him for 2 days now and there is no answer. We are very concerned that he may not show up.

We are making a Plan B which requires a community member to stand in for our Santa photos.

10-2pm at the Glenboro School Student lounge with Caitlin Zalluski.

At 2:15pm Santa then goes to the Movie Theater to say a quick Hello to the kids.

We have a Santa Costume.

❄️ Spirit Sands Wagon Outfitters – December Sleigh Rides! ❄️

We took a couple months off to get everything ready for winter, and we’re excited to be back in action! Kicking off the season, we were proud to take part in the Virden Santa Claus Parade tonight — always a great way to start the holidays.

And the fun keeps rolling! 🎄🐴

Below is the parade map, if anyone wants to join the parade please be at the Glenboro Hall parking lot promptly at 5pm the parade starts at 5:30!
