🎃 🕷Happy Halloween from Adaptive Trails! 🧡

We've had a spooktacular time celebrating at Hand-in-Hand Day Program! We had so much fun carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds, enjoying some Halloween games, and seeing all the fun and amazing costumes everyone put together. This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling especially grateful for our amazing participants, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters who make our community so special. Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us create a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and included.

🍂 Here’s a look at how we’ve been welcoming the fall season at Adaptive Trails!

We’ve been enjoying the beautiful fall colours, making cozy foods like applesauce, and sharing the things we feel thankful for! ❤️

We created our own Thankful Tree, adding leaves with the things we appreciate most, and celebrated Photography Week by looking back at favourite picture memories, creating our own scrapbook, and taking pictures at our photo booths! Looking back at all the memories we’ve made together reminded us of just how much we have to be thankful for.

We finished off the week with a special Thanksgiving lunch, bringing everyone together to celebrate the season before the long weekend! 🧡

What a day! We are so excited to share that our volleyball tournament raised over $4,500 for Adaptive Trails Support Services! 🎉💛

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success. A huge thank you to The Dube Realtors for organizing this amazing tournament and choosing to support our organization. Your generosity and commitment to our community mean more than we can put into words.

To all of our incredible sponsors, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us create more opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to connect, grow, and thrive. And to every team and player who came out to compete, have fun, and support a great cause, thank you for making the day so special!

It’s days like these that remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive community. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing meaningful experiences, building connections, and creating a place where everyone belongs.

🧡 Orange Shirt Day & National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, we take time to remember the children who were taken from their families and communities, honour Survivors, and recognize the lasting impact residential schools continue to have on Indigenous communities.

At Adaptive Trails, we believe in the importance of listening, learning, and continuing to build a future rooted in respect, understanding, and inclusion. Today and every day, we stand with Indigenous communities and support the ongoing journey toward truth and reconciliation.

Tie Dye Took Over Adaptive Trails!

Our Tie Dye week was full of colour, creativity, and lots of fun! Everyone had the chance to create their very own tie dye T-shirt, choosing their own colours and patterns to make it uniquely theirs.

We had so many colourful and creative designs come together, and no two shirts turned out quite the same!

The Dube Realtors are hosting an exciting indoor co-ed volleyball tournament in support of Adaptive Trails Support Services! 💜
Join us on Saturday, October 3rd, starting at 9:00 AM at the Meridian Community Centre Gymnasium for a full day of volleyball, friendly competition, and community fun!

Teams can register for $400, which includes 3 games, playoffs, and a tournament T-shirt. Whether you're in it to compete or just looking for a great day with your team, we'd love to see you there!

This past week, we've been exploring the amazing world of butterflies, and now we're getting to experience their life cycle up close by raising our very own Painted Lady caterpillars.

Right now they're in the very first stage of their journey,the caterpillar stage! 🐛 Over the next few weeks, we'll be watching them grow, form their chrysalises, and eventually emerge as beautiful butterflies.

Stay tuned as we follow their incredible transformation together! 💛🦋
