At some point, every skilled trade is passed from one generation to the next.
The question is. Who are we passing it to?
That’s what Trade Tracks is built to answer.
Recognized as an award-winning economic development initiative, Trade Tracks is a hands-on, experience-driven event where students don’t just hear about the trades, they step into them. They see the work, try the tools, and begin to understand what a future in the trades could look like.
Last year, more than 2,100 students walked through our site, each one representing a potential future for the industries that built our communities.
As an exhibitor, this is your opportunity to:
• Share your knowledge and experience with the next generation
• Demonstrate the pride and craftsmanship behind your work
• Help young people see a clear, achievable path into the trades
• Contribute to the long-term strength of your industry and local economy
This isn’t about setting up a booth.
It’s about showing what your trade really is, and why it matters.
Trade Tracks is built on a simple idea:
skills are learned from people, not just programs.

Trade Tracks is proud to share that our founder, Carl Gray, has been named the 2025 Economic Development Influencer of the Year, receiving the George Bridge Award.
This recognition, by the County Of Wellington, reflects the growing impact of Trade Tracks as a community-driven initiative focused on:
• Career awareness in the skilled trades
• Hands-on student engagement
• Strong connections between education and industry
Trade Tracks was created to provide students with real-world exposure to the trades through interactive experiences, not passive displays.
This award is a testament to the collective effort of:
• Our exhibitors and industry partners
• Our volunteers and operations team
• Schools and educators
• The broader community
Together, we are building pathways, strengthening workforce development, and supporting the next generation.
