Meet Tommy 🐾

2 Yrs | 70–80 lbs | Male | Mixed Breed

Tommy is a handsome, adventurous 2-year-old with a big heart and so much love to give. While his early life wasn’t easy and left him a bit unsure of the world, he’s made incredible progress over the past year and continues to grow every day.

He’s built up an impressive circle of dog and human friends, and once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate personality really shines. Tommy loves cuddling up with his stuffed animals, joining you on walks or hikes, and is always happy to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Tommy is still working on building confidence in certain situations and will do best with someone who can continue guiding him with patience and consistency. He’s shown that with the right support, he can adapt and thrive — including living alongside another dog and even coexisting with a cat in a previous foster home.

He would be happiest in a home that can offer a calm, structured environment and a bit of space to relax and unwind. An experienced adopter would be a great match to help him keep building on all the progress he’s already made.

Tommy is a loyal, loving companion who bonds deeply with his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily be your adventure buddy by day and your 70–80 lb cuddle partner by night.

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️

While we always hope for positive outcomes through our veterinary assistance program, there are times when the most compassionate option is to prevent further suffering. In these situations, our priority is ensuring an animal in crisis receives care and dignity.

This puppy was tragically attacked by another dog, sustaining severe injuries including a ruptured eye, skull and neck fractures, and spinal involvement. Unfortunately, his injuries were too extensive to recover from.

We are incredibly grateful to .mckervey for stepping in and volunteering her time to get him to emergency care. If you are able, we are now asking for your support to help cover the cost of his emergency treatment and care. Every donation makes a meaningful difference for animals who have nowhere else to turn, and enables us to offer this program to our community.

Meet Domino 🐾🤍

This 3-month-old Great Dane mix has already fought for his life - and won. After being found nearly frozen to death, Domino was rushed into emergency care in critical condition, suffering from severe hypothermia and seizures. Thanks to his fighting spirit, he’s now stable and safe in foster - but his journey is just beginning.

Despite everything he’s been through, Domino is the sweetest, cuddliest little soul. He loves to be close, soak up affection, and show off his goofy, big-puppy personality. He’s truly the definition of resilient.

Now, Domino is looking for a foster-to-adopt home where he can continue to heal, grow, and just be a puppy. He’ll need patience, guidance, and lots of love - but in return, you’ll get a loyal best friend who will grow into your gentle giant 💛

His emergency care came at a significant cost, with veterinary bills upwards of $2,000, and we need your help to give him the future he deserves.

🙏 How you can help:
• Donate today to help cover his emerg bill
• Apply to foster-to-adopt
• Share this post to help us reach the right home

TRIGGER WARNING: SENSITIVE CONTENT

We said yes when a dog needed us - now we’re asking for your help ❤️

On March 23, we were contacted about a dog who had been badly attacked and urgently needed care. His owner loves him deeply but couldn’t afford the vet bill, so we stepped in.

He was taken to an emergency clinic that night. Unfortunately, despite us stating that we would pay for the dog’s treatment, he waited for 16 hours without care in emerg.

We finally made the decision to transfer him to .river.vet, where he was treated right away. We’re so grateful to their team for stepping up when it mattered most.

Between both visits ($692.57 for the emergency visit and $423.10 for treatment .river.vet), the total came to $1,115.67 - an unexpected cost for our small rescue.

We’re hoping to raise this amount so we can continue saying yes to dogs who need us.

If you’re able to contribute, even $5 or $10 makes a real difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this post helps us more than you know.

This is what your support does - it gives dogs a chance when they otherwise wouldn’t have one 🐾
