Calling all poets! is currently running a poetry competition on the theme “A Sacred Place.”

Whether it's a spiritual journey along a sacred route, a personal quest of self-discovery, an unforgettable holiday with a difference, or a pilgrimage inspired by a musical idol or sporting hero, can you put those experiences, impressions, and memories into words?

We're excited to welcome Beau Miles to the World Trails Film Festival as part of World Trails Conference 2026!

Join Beau as he introduces his film, Bad River: Running the Oldest River on Earth, documenting his incredible 100km journey along Central Australia's Finke River.

Beau will also close the conference with an inspiring keynote, sharing stories from his adventures and exploring the joy of spending time outdoors, the power of curiosity, and the important role trails play in connecting us with people and places.

If you can't wait until October, Beau's Secret Screenings with Beau Miles tour is heading across Australia and New Zealand throughout October and November 2026, featuring unreleased films and the stories behind them (or maybe not 😉).

Asia Trails Network has announced the date and location of its General Assembly. 👇

📣Save the date!

Dear ATN members,

Our 2026 General Assembly will be held in Jeju, Korea. Special thanks to Jeju Olle for agreeing to co-host the event.

We invite you to attend the general assembly on November 4th, 16:00-17:30 (KST), and also make sure to join the following Jeju Olle Walking Festival, from Nov. 5th to 7th, to experience the joy of walking, along with our fellow ATN members.

As Jeju prepares for a new form of walking festival, this year marks the last round of the current format. In addition, with the passing of the founder of ATN, Ms. Suh Myung-sook, it means a lot for all of us to gather together, to commemorate the vision and legacy of her dedication to trails.

You don't need to register to attend the assembly, but please reply with the names of the members who plan to attend. For the following walking festival, pre-registration will open from July 8th. Feel free to reach out to the ATN Secretariat and Jeju Olle Foundation for more info.
