Local Youth Experience

🍂 Friendsgiving at Local! 🍂

Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 9, from 7:00–9:00 for a cozy night together!

We’re doing things a little differently this year! Instead of a full Thanksgiving meal, we’re inviting youth to bring sweet treats or snacks to share. Local will provide festive punch!

Here’s what we have planned:
⭐ Make woven embroidery stars at our craft station
🔎 Take on Jessica’s escape room
📺 Get comfy in our cozy movie room with Thanksgiving episodes of our favourite cartoons

Bringing food to share? Comment below or send us a DM, or just bring it along! You’re welcome to join us whether you bring something or not. 🧡

📍 At Local
🍁 Grades 7–12
✨ FREE! New youth are always welcome.

Riddles, codes, teamwork. Oh my! 🔐🧩

Jessica created an awesome escape room for our Local Leaders, who put their heads together to crack codes and solve clues. Thanks, Jessica, for bringing your creativity to the table!

We’re hoping to add a few more Local Leaders to our team! Youth in **Grades 7–12** are welcome to join us as we volunteer, hear from interesting guest speakers, learn life skills and have fun together.

Every week, Katie cooks supper and we gather around the table to eat family style. It’s a chance to connect, make friends and find your place at Local. 💛

**Tuesdays | 5:30–8:00 pm**
Come for supper, stay for the teamwork!
