🚴 ROUTE UPDATE: The RVA Cycling Challenge is still on!
Our first annual RVA Cycling Challenge is happening Sunday, September 20, but due to trail closures along the originally planned route, we’ve made some changes to keep the ride going safely.
The updated ride will now start and finish at Terwillegar Dog Park, travelling through Edmonton’s river valley trail system to Strathcona Science Provincial Park and back

⏰ Meet at 8:30 AM | Ride begins at 9:00 AM
📍 Start & Finish: Terwillegar Dog Park
🚴 Turnaround: Strathcona Science Provincial Park
While we’re disappointed that we can’t complete the route originally planned for our inaugural challenge, we’re excited to still bring everyone together for a great day of cycling through the North Saskatchewan River Valley!
The revised route will continue to include a mix of paved and gravel multi-use trails, with plenty of beautiful river valley scenery along the way.
🚲 Helmets and working bells are required.
