At our most recent Soroptimist meeting, our members stood together to recite the Soroptimist Pledge. 🌸

More than just words, this pledge is a promise—both as a group and as individuals—to serve our community and support the women and girls within it.

It’s a simple but powerful reminder of why we do what we do: to create opportunities, inspire change, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

✨ Our final meeting before the summer break was an extra special one. ✨

Together, we reflected on how far we’ve come over the past year, celebrated our achievements, and recognized the incredible impact we’ve made in our community.

There were cookies, happy tears, plenty of hugs, and a shared sense of pride in what we’ve accomplished as a club. As we look ahead, we’re feeling refreshed, inspired, and excited for all that’s to come in the year ahead.

Thank you to every member, supporter, and community partner who helps make our work possible. 💜

💜 What a great day!

Our Board of Directors spent the afternoon on Vancouver Island visiting with the wonderful members victoria westshore
The abundance of experience, shared knowledge, and genuine willingness to support and learn from one another was truly outstanding. We came away inspired by the ideas, insights, and friendships that were exchanged throughout the day.

One of the greatest strengths of Soroptimist is the connection between clubs and the opportunity to learn from women who have walked the path before us. Thank you to our Victoria Westshore sisters for your warm hospitality, generosity, and encouragement. We are grateful for the time spent together and look forward to continuing to build these valuable relationships.

🌳 Potluck Picnic in the Park 🌞

What a fabulous Sunday spent together at our Soroptimist South Delta potluck picnic! From sharing delicious food to playing games, laughing, and enjoying great conversation, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect outside of our regular meetings.

At Soroptimist, we believe that the better we know and understand each other, the stronger we are as a team—and the better we can serve our community. Building friendships and fostering connection within our club helps us work together more effectively to support and empower women and girls in South Delta and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to gather, connect, and have some fun together!

☀️ What a beautiful day for a picnic in the park! 💜

Members of Soroptimist International of South Delta gathered today to enjoy some sunshine, laughter, great food, and meaningful connection with our Soroptimist Sisters.

Days like these are a wonderful reminder of the friendships, support, and sisterhood that make our club so special. There was plenty of conversation, games, smiles, and shared stories, making for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We are grateful for this incredible group of women and the positive impact we create together in our community. 💜

🗓️ Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day, and Soroptimist International South Delta is proud to have supported women and girls in our community through our No Barriers Period initiative. ♥️

Throughout the month of May, we donated hygiene supplies to the South Delta Food Bank to help support those facing barriers to accessing essential products.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in the South Delta community who contributed, donated, and helped spread awareness. Together, we are helping create dignity, confidence, and access for women and girls in our community. 💕🙌
