Now that everything has been put away til next year, we’ve had time to decompress, and go through footage it’s finally time for a post KILT-ober post 🎃💀

I think I can honestly say, and think I’ve said this every year 😂 this was our best year yet 👏 We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Beautiful weather, awesome food, amazing local vendors, piping, dancing, the Scottish heavy events, and a huge crowd that stayed til the very end 😀 I also felt the love on Saturday by receiving a pie to the face 🙄😂

First off, a big thank you to all the dedicated local volunteers and the Debert and Area Community Association for their hard work. Without our volunteers this event wouldn’t be possible.

I’d also like send a sincere thank you to our new and loyal supporting sponsors, for whom again, KILT-ober wouldn’t be possible.

To Celtic Element School of Dance, Dan Wesley, and our growing list of local Nova Scotia vendors thank you for sharing in and helping grow our event every year.

And finally, to our competitors that took part in our heavy events competition, thank you for your strength and athleticism and putting on great show for our spectators. We even had a couple new field records and close to a few more 💪
