☀️ Summer Camp – Weeks 7 & 8
Weeks 7 and 8 at Summer Camp were filled with hands-on learning, exciting science experiments, creativity, and entrepreneurship! Our campers had lots of opportunities to explore, experiment, create, and learn through fun activities.
🔬 Hands-On Science Learning
Our campers became little scientists as they participated in a variety of fun experiments and challenges. Some of our activities included marble runs, walking water, making ice cream in a bag, marshmallow slime, and more! These activities encouraged curiosity, problem-solving, teamwork, and learning through discovery.

💡 Entrepreneurship & Business Learning
We also learned all about entrepreneurship, goods and services, costs, and profit. Campers designed their own lemonade stand posters, created their own products, and had the opportunity to become young entrepreneurs during Entrepreneurs Day. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and business ideas come to life!

A big thank you to Davidson’s Co-Op for generously allowing us to use their grounds for our lemonade stand. Your support helped make this experience extra special for our campers!

🎪 We would also like to thank the Health Centre for inviting us to their carnival. Our campers had a wonderful time participating and enjoying the event!

What an amazing two weeks of learning, creating, experimenting, and having fun! We are so proud of everything our campers accomplished and the enthusiasm they brought to each activity. 🌟

A Sweet Thank You! 🍋💛
A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our little entrepreneurs at their lemonade stand yesterday! 🍋🥤
The kids had so much fun running their stand, serving up lemonade, welcoming customers, and getting to experience what it’s like to be little entrepreneurs. Their smiles and excitement made the day so special!
We are so grateful to our wonderful community for showing up, supporting the kids, and helping make Entrepreneurs Day such a memorable experience. Your encouragement means so much! 💛

🌟 Meet Our Educator – Arshdeep!🌟

We are so excited to introduce Arsh, one of the wonderful educators at Little Acres Learning Center! 💚

Arsh has been working in the ECE field since 2021. She completed her Early Childhood Education diploma at Sheridan College in Ontario, where she gained both theoretical knowledge and valuable hands-on experience through placements in different daycares and schools.

These experiences helped Arsh learn about different teaching approaches, classroom environments, and ways of supporting each child's individual needs.

Arshdeep has also achieved her Level 3 ECE certification in Saskatchewan. After living and working in Ontario, she made the move to Saskatchewan and has been calling Davidson home for almost a year. Moving to a new province has been a wonderful learning experience and has given her the opportunity to meet new people and become part of a new community. 🌱

Arshdeep is truly passionate about working with children and believes that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. She enjoys creating fun, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences where children can explore, ask questions, build confidence, and develop at their own pace.

As an educator, Arsh values patience, kindness, respect, inclusion, active supervision, and positive relationships. She believes children learn best when they feel safe, heard, and supported. 💛

She also loves learning from the children because every day brings something new! ✨

We are so happy to have Arshdeep as part of our Little Acres family and look forward to all the wonderful connections she will build with our children! 💚
