⚠️ THOMPSON RIVER SAFETY ALERT ⚠️

Many Coquitlam Football & Cheer families will be travelling to Kamloops this weekend.

The BC River Forecast Centre has issued advisories for the Thompson River system due to rising water levels from snowmelt and rainfall.

Officials are reminding the public to:

• Stay clear of fast-flowing rivers
• Stay back from riverbanks
• Use extra caution near all waterways
• Keep children close when visiting riverfront areas

Riverbanks can be unstable and water conditions can change quickly.

Have a great weekend in Kamloops, travel safely, and good luck to all of our athletes, coaches, and families.
