On Tuesday, Meemee told us about her year as an exchange student in Collingwood. and shared photos of her adventures. She learned to ski, watched hockey games, played rugby and basketball, went ice fishing, to a Raptors game and Algonquin Park and many other places. What a fabulous year for a wonderful student. Meemee will be leaving to head back to Thailand in just over a month. We also heard from Sophia, our outgoing student, going to Austria in August. Her command of Austrian was impressive. We look forward to hearing from Sophia again when she returns.
And we had the pleasure of having Alison Durtnall, District 7010 Assistant Governor visit us and present a banner for achieving 100 percent member donations to the Rotary Foundation last year. Thanks Alison and congrats to our club and our president last year, Mary, who was away on Tuesday. We will share the banner and congrats with Mary next meeting 😊

This formidable crew cleaned up Sixth St extended roadside from Fisher Fields to Grey Rd 19 on Wednesday evening, collecting 7 large trash bags full of litter. Way to go team! Sixth St looks better.
