Today, our hearts are incredibly full. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, the Chesley Community Players are honoured to donate a total of $4000 to two organisations that mean so much to our area. Both and have received $2000, with the funds raised through our recent production of Calendar Girls.
This wasn't just our donation, it belongs to everyone who helped make Calendar Girls such a success. To our directors, cast, crew, volunteers, sponsors, and every single person who bought a ticket or cheered us on, thank you. We truly couldn't have done it without you.
Hospice care has touched so many of our lives. Most of us know someone who has received the kindness, comfort, and compassion these places provide. Being able to give back to two organisations that have given so much to our families and our communities means the world to us.
Community theatre has always been about more than putting on a show. It's about bringing people together and supporting one another. Thanks to all of you, we were able to do both.
