Despite the chilly weather, we kept things sizzling at our Potluck & Book Swap! 🍔📚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of great conversations, delicious food, and discovering new books to enjoy. It was the perfect way to wrap up our monthly gatherings before taking a summer break.

We’re so grateful for the wonderful community we’ve built together and can’t wait to connect with you again. Stay tuned for some fun summer outings, and we’ll be back with our regular monthly sessions in September!

Don’t forget we’re kicking off summer this Thursday with an outdoor Potluck & Summer Reads Book Swap, featuring Shari Elson firing up the BBQ! 🔥😃☀️

Bring a dish, bring a book, bring a friend—or just bring yourself. 🥗📚 We’ll take care of the rest. 💜

We’ll be sharing a meal, swapping summer reads, and spending some time together as we kick off the summer season. 🎉

Our monthly walk with & was extra special this month as we welcomed friends from to join us at Scanlon Creek. 🌿

The mosquitoes may have been out in full force, but so was our determination to keep moving forward together. Through the trails, we shared conversations, laughter, stories, and plenty of check-ins along the way.

There’s something so meaningful about gathering in nature with a community of supportive women, taking time to connect, catch up, and meet new friends while strengthening old friendships.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re always reminded that the best part of these walks isn’t the distance we cover, but the connections we make along the way. 💜💖

Summer is almost here, and we’re gathering to celebrate together! 💜☀️📚🍓

Join us on Thursday, June 18 at 6:30 PM at Henderson Memorial Community Park (Pavilion) for an evening of good food, meaningful conversation, and community connection. ✨

This month, we’re excited to host a Summer Reads Book Swap! 📚 Bring a gently loved book (or two, or five!) that you’ve enjoyed, learned from, or simply think another woman+ should read this summer. It’s a chance to exchange recommendations, discover new favourites, and leave with your next great read. 📖

We’ll also share a community potluck meal, enjoy some outdoor games, and spend time connecting with old friends and new faces.

💜 New to BWG? We’d love to meet you.
📚 Summer Reads Book Swap participation is completely optional.
🥗 Potluck contributions are appreciated but not required.
🪑 Picnic benches are available, but you may wish to bring a lawn chair, blanket, or cushion for extra comfort.

Join us on Sunday, June 7 at 9:00 a.m. for our monthly walk at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area!

This month, we’re excited to be walking alongside our friends from Bradford Hustlers and SWAN ~ Successful Women Always Networking as we take on a 5 km walk together. Whether you’re a regular walker or just looking to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, we’d love to have you join us.

A few reminders:

🧴 Don’t forget your sunscreen
👟 Wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes
💧 Bring water to stay hydrated
