Our family is reaching out for support for Mary Simpson as she begins a long and difficult recovery after under going a double lung transplant. This life-saving surgery has given her a second chance, but the road ahead will be challenging. She will remain in the hospital for an extended period of time and will face months of recovery, medication, travel to appointments, and daily living expenses while unable to return to normal life right away.

Anyone who knows her knows how caring, strong, and selfless she is. Right now she needs the same love and support returned to her. We are hoping to ease some of the finiancial stress so she can focus fully on healing and recovery.

Any donation no matter the amount, will go directly towards medical-related expenses, transportation, accomadations for family support, meals and everyday bills during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate please share it would mean just as much to our family.

You can etransfer directly to [email protected] or if you want to give cash you can give it to myself or Lauralee Courtney-Cowan and we will make sure it reaches her.

On April 6, 2018, Saskatchewan’s Humboldt Broncos hockey team was in a tragic bus crash. Sixteen people were killed, including Logan Boulet who would go on to save six lives through organ donation.

This April 27th - in honour of his jersey number - we invite you to join us in taking a moment to honour Logan and donors like him.

Le 6 avril 2018, l'équipe de hockey des Broncos de Humboldt, de la Saskatchewan, a été victime d'un tragique accident de bus. Seize personnes ont perdu la vie, dont Logan Boulet, qui allait par la suite sauver six vies grâce au don d'organes.

As April comes to an end we'd like to thank all of the communities that helped us raise awareness for organ donation. (Belleville, Brighton, Picton and Trenton)
Thanks to Quinte Health we had a very constructive week at the Sills entrance of the Belleville hospital having conversations about organ donation and easing the stress of a few folks currently on the transplant list or had recently received the gift of life.
