We are grateful for essential partnerships within our community! The team at McKesson donated over 2100 pounds of food last week! These items will make a big impact at our Community Market!

A BIG thank you to our friends at Imperial Brady Canada and Sigma Stretch Film!

This week, Jodie had the pleasure of welcoming Jean L'Heureux, David Springman, Lindsay Spier, Bruce Cameron and Joe Graves to Gleaners for a tour, a chance to ask questions and a firsthand look at the work we're doing in our community.

We're incredibly grateful for their generous $7,500 donation to support our food bank!

With the need for food support continuing to grow, generosity like this makes a real difference in helping us put nutritious food on the tables of individuals and families who need it most.

We're so fortunate to have business and community partners who believe in what we do and step up to help make it possible.

Thank you for being part of the difference we're making together!

A HUGE thank you to the students from Albert College who hit the streets this past weekend collecting food in support of our Full Plates Project!

Together, they collected almost 2,000 pounds of food for Gleaners!

That food is already making a difference. It means more items on the shelves of our Community Market and more support for local individuals and families who are turning to Gleaners for a little help right now.

And maybe just as importantly, it’s pretty great to see young people out in our community, giving their time and energy to help their neighbours.

To the students, staff, families and everyone who donated when they came knocking, THANK YOU!

Almost 2,000 pounds collected. A whole lot of generosity. And another great example of what happens when our community comes together.

Belleville - THANK YOU!

We are still blown away by the support we received for last week’s Full Plates Project.

Because of YOU, our community came together to donate:

Nearly 15,000 lbs of food
An incredible $33,000 in financial support

Those are amazing numbers, but the real impact goes far beyond the numbers.

It means fuller shelves at Gleaners. It means more food available for individuals and families who need a little extra help. And it gives us the resources to continue responding to the growing need we are seeing across our community.

Every bag of groceries. Every dollar donated. Every volunteer who gave their time. Every person who shared our message.

It all mattered.

We are incredibly grateful to live in a community that continues to show up for its neighbours.

From all of us at Gleaners, THANK YOU for helping us fill plates and make a difference.

We’re already looking forward to the Full Plates Project in 2027!
