Congratulations to the Bayfield Fair & Agricultural Society on the publication of this new book. You'll find lots of history inside! Available at the fair this weekend.

We're very proud to introduce "Recipes & Stories" - a commemorative book celebrating the 170th anniversary of the Bayfield Agricultural Society (BAS).

The book contains over 130 recipes from the community – many of them handed down through families over generations – along with memories about food shared and the people who prepared it. The book also features a BAS history section, family stories, and a collection of Fair stories.

The “Recipes & Stories” book will be available for purchase at the Bayfield Community Fair starting on Friday, August 14 and continuing throughout the Fair weekend. Sales will be at the Information Booth in the Bayfield Arena. The cost per copy is $20 (cash, credit card, or cheque). The book can also be ordered by sending an email to [email protected].

It's the perfect gift for any occasion: birthday, bridal shower, stocking stuffer, housewarming, keepsake, thank you, or just because. The BAS thanks everyone in advance for supporting this fundraiser.

The BAS gratefully acknowledges a Bayfield 150 Project grant from the Bayfield Lions Club to help offset the cost of producing the commemorative book.
