Today we had a man by the name of “Blue Berry Pete” stop in and let us know that he so graciously wanted to donate one of his beautiful handmade picnic tables to the park!

Peter found a silver lining in
the 2023 Barrington Lake Wild Fires and began making beautiful live edge tables from wood that the fire destroyed on his many acres in Clyde River.

We are so blessed to have people in our community like Peter whose hearts speak louder than their words!

We wish you a prosperous Blueberry Season and will see you in the Fields very soon !

Grade primary students from Hillcrest Academy were the first to try it out on their field trip to the park today 🫐

We have wedged the bathroom
Door open at the park to keep the main door
From getting locked unintentionally.

The stall inside the bathroom locks so please try to keep main door wedged if possible.

We plan to change the door handle at some point to prevent this from happening so frequently.

Please make sure the exterior door on the new park washroom is unlocked when you exit the facility
