Aweres VFR - 40 alarms
Greyhighlands Fire Service - 150 alarms
Kirkland Lake Fire Service - 115 alarms
Midland Fire Service - 160 alarms
Ottawa Fire Services - 700 alarms
Pelham Fire Services - 165 alarms
Trent Lakes Fire Services - 100 alarms
Oneida Nations of the Thames - 50 alarms
Waterloo Fire - 280 alarms

These departments will all receive Kidde 10-year lithium-ion battery backup smoke alarms. We thank all fire departments that participated and keep our communities safe. 🚒 Support Your Local Food Banks This Saturday

Leeds 1000 Islands firefighters will be out in the community this Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Lansdowne Freshmart supporting the Chief Fire Officers Association of Leeds and Grenville in collecting food and monetary donations for local food banks.

If you’re stopping by the store, please consider picking up an extra non-perishable food item or making a small donation. Your support will help ensure local families have access to food when they need it most.

Thanks to the Athens Fire Department for giving up their time on a weekend to collect food items and money for our foodbank at the food drive.
We are so grateful for everything and to Fire Chief Gerry Bell for delivering it to us yesterday. ( Monday)
$1279.55 was collected as well as lots of food.

Please join us in congratulating Nick Cotto on his promotion to Company Officer with the Athens Fire Department.
Nick has worked hard to complete his Officer 1&2 courses through the Ontario Fire Collage, Nick’s dedication to the department and the community will allow him to be successful in his new promotion. Congratulations Nick.
