Heads up if you are coming from Cape Breton!

12:10pm update: Crews were able to repair the issue that had the swing bridge stuck open. A vessel has since passed through and traffic is expected to resume shortly.

🚨 Traffic Alert: Canso Causeway 🚨

Motorists are advised that the Canso Causeway swing bridge is currently stuck in the open position, causing traffic to come to a standstill.

At this time, the Department of Transportation has not provided a timeline for repairs or when traffic will resume. If you're travelling through the area, expect significant delays and consider adjusting your plans if possible.

For the week of September 21, traffic control between Church Street and Cairn Park is expected to be minimal. One-way traffic could still be needed a couple of days to ensure crew safety as they work towards completion of this section of AT Trail.

Please take care when navigating the area and follow signage to stay safe.

🌊 Update from the AquaVie waves… 🌊

I’ve officially started my first waves of AquaVie sessions in the Open Float, and… OH. MY. GOODNESS. 🥹💙 The results have been absolutely incredible.

I’m witnessing people leave feeling deeply relaxed, more aligned in their bodies, moving with greater ease, and many are already rebooking follow-up sessions because of how they feel afterward. 🥹✨

A unique fusion of therapeutic massage and the supportive properties of warm water, designed to encourage deep relaxation, increase mobility, support postural alignment and help regulate the nervous system.

Over the next few days, I’ll be opening the first AquaVie appointments and sharing more about what this experience will look like.
