We’re proud to partner with The Bermuda College for Endeavour's Maritime Career Springboard Programme! ⚓

We’re celebrating an extraordinary young Bermudian whose journey is a powerful reminder of what can happen when passion, perseverance and opportunity come together. 🎉

💙 Meet Siyon Paynter!

Siyon has always loved the ocean, from fishing and swimming to exploring the wonders of the underwater world. 🌊 🎣

He first stepped aboard a sailboat through our STEAM Education Through Sailing Programme at just 11 years old. Siyon continued developing his skills through Endeavour’s Graduate and Assistant Instructor Programmes, while volunteering his time to help younger students discover the joy of sailing. 🤩

In 2025, he completed the Maritime Springboard Programme, gaining valuable skills and Royal Yachting Association qualifications. This milestone opened the door to an internship with Endeavour, where he now helps inspire the next generation of young Bermudians. And his adventures haven’t stopped there! 😎

Earlier this year, Siyon completed his first ocean crossing, an experience he absolutely loved, particularly encountering marine life, and experiencing the vastness of the open ocean. ⛵🐬

When he’s not helping young sailors find their confidence on the water, you might find Siyon exploring beneath it, he’s also a certified Rescue Diver and has also worked with Waterstart. 🤿 🐠

Siyon, we're proud of everything you’ve accomplished! Your journey is an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see where your passion for the ocean takes you next. 🌟 🌊

We were thrilled to welcome amazing students and teachers from The Bermuda High School as we set sail on the 12th year of Endeavour’s STEAM Education through Sailing Programme! 🤩

Students explored STEAM concepts through sailing, discovering sailing geometry and points of sail, buoyancy and stability, wind measurement, and weather patterns. Hands-on learning and engaging discussions sparked curiosity, collaboration, and camaraderie! 💨☀️⛵

Making waves for a healthier ocean! 🌊 Students took action for the environment by cleaning Bermuda’s beaches and collecting hundreds of pieces of marine debris! 👏 They then explored the impact of marine pollution and brainstormed creative ways to live more sustainably. ♻️🌍

The week wrapped up with a fun-filled scavenger hunt at the National Museum of Bermuda, where students discovered fascinating stories about Bermuda’s rich maritime heritage. 🔎⚓️🗺️

We love seeing students embrace new challenges, build confidence, and discover their potential through these unforgettable experiences! 💙

A heartfelt thank-you to our valued donors, partners, and supporters who make these inspiring learning opportunities possible. Your support helps us empower Bermuda’s youth and inspire brighter futures! 🙌
