Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has defeated Republican Rick Jackson to become Georgia's next governor. Bottoms makes history as the first Black woman ever elected governor in the United States.

Bottoms previously served as mayor of Atlanta. Her victory also ends more than two decades of Republican control of Georgia’s governor’s mansion.

VERONIKA WEST: REMNANT AMERICA, YOUR MIDWAY IS NOT YOUR END!

As I went into intercession early this morning, I heard the Spirit of Revelation speaking concerning the nation of Israel as they crossed through the Red Sea, and I heard these words: "When the nation of Israel reached the halfway point in crossing the red sea, just imagine the great walls of deep blue water towering above them on either side. The sheer magnitude of what stood before them must have been overwhelming—even faith testing! Yet the same God who had parted the waters before them was the God who would hold back the waters until every last one had crossed over!"

And as I heard those words, I began to see by the Spirit a powerful prophetic parallel and timeline concerning the nation of America and the critical MIDWAY POINT that the nation now finds itself standing in! I understood by the Spirit that the greatest testing of faith can often come not at the beginning of the crossing but in the middle, when there is no going back to what was, and the fullness of what God has promised has not YET been laid hold of!

The Deep Blue Waters That Tower Above You Shall Not Overtake You!

Suddenly I heard the Spirit say, "Remnant America, keep the faith! Do not allow the pressure of the midway point to cause you to doubt the promise of God! Your midway is not your end, your in-between is not your final destination, and the deep blue waters that tower above you shall not... FROM BROKENNESS TO FREEDOM THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!

During this year's Celebrate Recovery West Gathering, our CR Regional Director, Scott Kemp, shared his powerful, God-filled testimony of hope, healing, and transformation!

For 25 years, Scott struggled with alcohol, drugs, and other destructive behaviors while trying to hide the pain he was experiencing on the inside.

As Scott shared:

"I thought I looked like I had it all together on the outside, but honestly, I was dying on the inside."

But God wasn't finished writing his story!

Through surrendering his life to Jesus Christ, Scott discovered that his past didn't have to define his future. He found freedom, healing, and a new identity rooted in Christ!

One of the most powerful reminders from his testimony was:

"Recovery always happens in relationships, never on my own."

That's what Celebrate Recovery is all about! We don't have to walk through our hurts, hang-ups, and habits alone. Through Jesus Christ and the support of our Forever Family, we can experience real hope, healing, and lasting change!

Scott reminds us:

"There's nothing too big in your life that the love of Christ can't forgive, heal, and restore."

No matter where you are in your recovery journey, remember that your story isn't over. God is still in the business of changing lives!
