Our sanctuary is a permanent home and safe haven for rescued Paws, where every life is honored as sacred. Welcome to The Paws Family – a place where words turn into care. We are a registered Foundation (No. 207848949), dedicated to those who remain in the shadows of society. Our work is focused in two primary directions:

🐾 Lifelong Sanctuary: We are more than just a transitional shelter. We create a permanent home for senior, chronically ill, and other animals whose chances of adoption are minimal. Here, they receive specialized daily and medical care, joy, peace, and support, as well as the opportunity to age with dignity in an environment of pure love.

🍲 Field Food Support: We believe that no living being should go to sleep hungry. Every day, we provide food and basic care for animals still living on the streets, while also supporting the local peoples who look after them.

🗒️Expense side: 1874 euro
As is the case every month, all monthly requirements are allocated as follows:
- for food and everything related to it
- for veterinary and medical needs
- for the maintenance of the Sanctuary and all other expenses (transport, administrative costs, etc.)

🗒️Arrived donation: 842 euro

You might be wondering what happens if we fail to cover the animals' monthly needs—given that we run a deficit almost every month, something anyone can see in our financial reports.

These expenses end up in an "Unpaid" folder. Managing this is another part of my job: ensuring the animals lack nothing they need, while simultaneously meeting payment deadlines—and, whenever possible, deferring certain payments for a while.
The truth is, it’s not easy. But to keep doing what we do, we sometimes have to take on tasks that consume a great deal of our time and energy, and cause us quite a bit of worry.

Brigit is pacing impatiently just out of frame... Cherry and Laila are catching the scent of the delicious breakfast wafting through the air - they’ve completely forgotten I’m even here. 🤔
