🌙 Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak from Dar Gyi Zarr Village (ဒါးကြီးစား ကျေးရွာ)
Maungdaw, Arakan – Myanmar
As the sacred days of Eid-ul-Adha return, we, the people of Dar Gyi Zarr Village, send our warmest wishes of peace, blessings, and unity to the world and especially to our fellow Rohingya brothers and sisters.
Our village, nestled in Naymay-5, northern Maungdaw, once stood with pride in the land of Arakan, Myanmar. But on 25 August 2017, everything changed forever. That day, our peaceful village was set on fire by the Myanmar military. In fear and anguish, we were forced to flee our beloved homes, crossing borders and rivers to seek safety. We became refugees overnight — now living in camps in Bangladesh, carrying only memories and hope.
Yet, even in exile, our faith remains unshaken. Our identity remains strong. And our village lives on — not in the soil of Arakan, but in our hearts, our prayers, and our unity.
On this holy Eid, may our sacrifices remind the world of our resilience. May our prayers reach the heavens. And may Allah bring justice, dignity, and return to all oppressed people.
