Successful APV Visit Marks Strong Start for Erasmus+ Eco-Agents Project!
On July 8–9, 2025, CEDE Aruba proudly hosted international partners for the Advance Planning Visit (APV) of our upcoming Erasmus+ Eco-Agents youth exchange. With participants from Aruba, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Germany, and Poland, the visit was a dynamic blend of collaboration, cultural exchange, and preparation—all to ensure the upcoming youth exchange is safe, impactful, and personally enriching for everyone involved.
Day 1 kicked off at the CEDE Aruba office with warm introductions and an icebreaker to build connections. We outlined the project’s goals, shared CEDE’s youth-led community initiatives, and covered key topics such as:
Safety measures for the 8-day exchange
Communication tools and protocols
Rules and mutual expectations
How youth leaders can best prepare their groups
Confirming the planning for September
From transportation all the way to daily meals
The day focused on alignment—to make sure we’re all moving toward a shared vision for a successful and inspiring exchange.
Day 2 focused on final planning and site visits. We finalized daily content, assigned responsibilities, and visited EduCampus Aruba, where most activities will take place. We also explored key locations participants will experience during the exchange, including:
Eco Montana Resort (our accommodation)
Plastic Beach Party project
Ayo Rock Formation
Donkey Sanctuary
Centro di bario Savaneta
Mangel Halto
The day ended with a meaningful visit to Savaneta Community Center, where we connected with local and Spanish volunteers. We’re also excited to team up with ArubaDoet on a community project in San Nicolas during the exchange.
✅ From logistics to leadership roles, the APV laid a strong foundation for a youth-powered experience centered on sustainability, inclusion, and community action.
🌱 We can’t wait to welcome the full group this September—big things are coming!
