Week 6 flew by in a flash for our GSFW team! 😊

From completing Cert II modules and smashing our fitness session, to finishing job interview prep and attending the Brisbane Carers Expo in the city, it’s been a busy but rewarding week.

With only a few weeks left in the program, things are about to get even busier - so rest up and get ready crew! πŸ˜ƒ

A huge congratulations as well to our participant who successfully obtained their learner licence at our workshop, delivered in partnership with Queensland Police, PCYC, and Department of Transport and Main Roads! 🏎️

πŸš—As last week was National Road Safety Week, Braking the Cycle and the Department of Transport and Mains Roads got together for a practice assessment day.

BTC Mentor Karmin took the opportunity to go for a drive with Christos, a qualified driving examiner from the DTMR. Despite being a little nervous Karmin was successful, she really enjoyed the experience as well as learning something new. πŸš—

Many Mentors took this opportunity to brush up on their skills, and we are very grateful to DTMR for lending us Christos who did a great job. πŸŽ‰
