🚌 See agricultural innovation in action across the Riverina!

Join us for a 2-day Production Innovation Tour, departing Wagga Wagga and visiting some of the region’s leading agricultural enterprises to see the technologies and practices driving productivity, sustainability and profitability.

Along the way, you’ll explore:
👉 cotton processing, composting and renewable energy at RivCott Cotton Gin
👉 large-scale feedlot and cropping systems at Ravensworth Agriculture
👉 cattle nutrition and feeding systems at Hells Gate Feedlot
👉 cotton processing and value-adding at Southern Cotton and Whitton Malt House
👉 virtual fencing and GPS cattle collars at Willowlee Farm

🚌 Depart: 7:00 am from Wagga Wagga

Join us and Harden Murrumburrah Landcare on a guided bird walk to submit a survey for Aussie Bird Count. We will be using the Aussie Bird app to count to identify birds and submit the survey. The walk will be following the Currawong creek.

Following the walk and bird survey, we will meet at Barnes Store Café for morning tea and a conversation about how life on the farm connects with a love of nature and birdwatching, as well as work in Landcare. The session will also explore how local native wildflowers and landscapes can inspire nature journaling and art.
