We are currently looking for 2-3 new Board members to join our team!

If you are:
✅ Deaf or hard of hearing
✅ Living in Australia
✅ Aged 18–30 years (or 15–17 for our Junior Board Member role)
…we’d love to for you to apply!

Being a Board member is an opportunity to contribute your ideas, develop leadership skills, and create opportunities for deaf youth.

To apply, fill in the EOI form and submit a short Auslan video introducing yourself and sharing what you would bring to the Board.

An incredible international opportunity for deaf youth 🌏

Deaf Youth Australia is pleased to share the World Federation of the Deaf Youth Section (WFDYS) Camp, taking place in Argentina this October 🇦🇷

Open to young people aged 13–17, this camp provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can develop leadership skills, build independence, and connect with deaf peers from around the world. The program focuses on cultural exchange, personal growth, and fostering global friendships within the deaf community.

This is a unique opportunity for your child to gain confidence, broaden their perspective, and be part of an empowering international experience.

Day 3 at Crossing Borders Youth Camp was our full adventure day.
From high ropes to flying foxes to bush shelters built from scratch, our campers threw themselves into every challenge. 🌿🦊
