🏠 Can you help us find a home base?

Vets for Compassion is a volunteer-driven, veterinary-led organisation rescuing and treating wildlife, farm animals, and companion animals across Victoria and we're growing!

In our entire history, we have never had a premises of any kind and do not have the funds to rent. Our volunteers work out of their homes and cars, and as a result our supplies and equipment are spread in pieces right across Melbourne, making it difficult to restock and adequately supply our team when animals need us most.

We are looking for a space around the Chadstone area that would include:

🐾 A warehouse space to store our large assets including our trailer, triage van, and medical supplies
🐾 A small office for our team
🐾 A meeting room for training and coordination

If you are a business or know someone who might be able to help, we would love to hear from you. This would directly support life-saving animal care across Victoria!

Hello, just a heads up with the current fuel crisis and affecting everyone we may not be as mobile as we would like to be.
We are a self funded volunteer group and all costs are our own and not everyone can afford to keep filling the tank.

Just a heads up, there have been quite a few koala, drop bear and Fuzzy Butt sightings in the areas around warburton ( hardware at the back and on the road near the bakery)
Millgrove, river rd and Yarra Junction near the Lolly shop/Shade and Staples.
For the most part they are going about their normal business getting from tree to tree, so please just be aware and if necessary, as many have done, give them some protection as they cross the roads.

On behalf of all of us, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the two guardian angels that recently lost their lives coming to the aid of our beloved wildlife.
These two women were taken too soon while coming to the aid of a kangaroo under extremely hazardous circumstances.
We cannot thank them enough and our thoughts are with their families at this extremely difficult time.❤️

Beautiful mumma roo caught in fence. Unfortunately bubba was killed as she hit the ground.Broken hip and leg damage.🌈🙁
Thanks so much to megan( MOP) and family that cared enough to call and buried the family with respect
