Today's Parkrun had a lot of volunteering in focus. Firstly, congratulations to Scott Wedesweiler - the man behind the scene-with a 250 Volunteer Milestone, Dale Bachelor the well-known barcode scanner with 100 and Jacqui Knight on her
50th Volunteer Milestone. We also had most of the Woy Woy crew representing in their TCS Sydney Marathon Volunteer shirt, running our Parkrun.
Volunteering has a huge impact on Parkrun, without it our favourite Saturday activity would not exist.

Jody O'Connor Weir our RD of this morning welcomed the whole crowd with her engaging personality, fun games to get the day started, music blasting and a cow belt to cheer everyone on. Also massive shout out to all the volunteers supporting today's Parkrun: Alex Powell, Nina Scheinhuette, Scott Wedesweiler, Ian Bachelor, Tom While, Dale Bachelor, Jacqui Knight, David Norris, Steve Russell, Robert Allan, Steve Caldwell, David Bryant, Ray Hayward, Beryl Lowry, Allison Taylor.
The warmer weather definitely got a few first timer out and plenty of personal bests.
