NDIS or Home Care Package: What's the Difference?

Not sure which one applies to you? It comes down to what kind of support you need and how it's assessed.

✅ NDIS is for people under 65 living with a permanent or significant disability
✅ Home Care Packages are for older Australians who want support to stay living independently

This is an opportunity to work closely with older people and their families, supporting them to live safely, independently and well in their own homes through the delivery of personalised care and services. The role combines care management, service coordination, client advocacy and budget management within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience in aged care client care management, case management or service coordination
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and a diverse client caseload
• Excellent assessment, care planning and documentation skills
• Confidence working with client budgets and funding arrangements
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• A genuine commitment to supporting older people to live safely and independently at home
