CALLING ALL WHK FAMILIES — PAST & PRESENT!

Our iconic Tiger has been part of Wavell Heights Kindy for more than 40 years, and thousands of little feet have climbed, cuddled, and played beside it over the decades.

As we count down to our 2026 Wavell Heights Kindergarten - OPEN DAY on May 16th, we want to celebrate the memories that make WHK so special.

The Kookaburra Room has been busy diving into all things, well...... Kookaburra!

We’ve been learning about where kookaburras live, what they like to eat, and the unique sounds that make them such iconic Aussie birds.

The children have been creating their own kookaburras, supporting creativity, strengthening fine motor skills, and practising how to follow a procedure step-by-step. So much learning wrapped up in feathers, glue and giggles.

We were so proud to support this beautiful toy drive for Bravery Box 🤍

It was a pleasure meeting Shane and learning more about the incredible work Bravery Box does for children going through treatment.

Our kindy kids loved being involved! Choosing toys, drawing messages, and sending well wishes with so much excitement and care.

Knowing one of our own kindy kids is a Bravery Box warrior made it even more special.
