Looking to learn something new, meet people and stay connected in the community? 🌱 Orana Neighbourhood House offers a range of low-cost and free programs designed to support health, wellbeing and connection in the Knox community.
Their weekly Introduction to Horticulture class helps people build gardening skills like seed raising and growing vegetables, while programs like the Taking Strides walking group create opportunities to stay active and social in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The House also offers meditation, mandala painting, men’s chat groups, women’s retreats and free education sessions on topics including menopause, emergency planning and financial wellbeing.
Neighbourhood Houses play an important role in helping people feel connected, supported and welcomed in the community, with houses located across Knox including Wantirna South, The Basin, Ferntree Gully and Upper Ferntree Gully.
