🏁 The Final Round | Sandown | And We Want You There

When we partnered with Marshall Motorsports at the start of the season, we backed an up-and-coming sim racer with something to prove.

A championship campaign that started with heartbreak at Adelaide , balanced with wins at at Indianapolis, Mount Panorama and Road Atlanta, .ends this Sunday with a shot at finishing on the podium for the first time.
We currently sit 3rd in the championship. 2nd place is only a couple of points ahead. It's going to go right down to the wire at our local track Sandown Sunday night.
And we want you to watch it with us. 🐾
The Wandin Football and Netball Club has kindly opened up the rooms for the night, the bar will be running, and we'll have it live on the big screen.
But here's the best part — tonight's round is proudly sponsored by Wandin Cricket Club. Our name is on this race. Our colors are on that car.
This is a night for everyone — cricketers, footballers, juniors, families — come down for a get together, catch up in the off-season, and cheer on your Bulldog. Rooms open 6pm.

Player announcement:

It is with great excitement we would like to welcome Jonny Aumann back to the Wandin Cricket Club for this upcoming season.

John comes with a great resume ,keeping behind the stumps to some of the Rdca’s best while being formidable with the bat.

John played for Wandin in our 2008-09 premiership season and was captain coach in 2009-10

The Yarra Valleys greatest ever keeper, John will be taking on the role as mentor to our up and coming wicket keepers.

John is coming back for the love of the club and will continue to grow the culture we have been building.

Welcome back to the kennel John, we look forward to you helping the development of our club, watching you behind those stumps and making some runs with the bat!!!

🏁 Round 6 | Mount Panorama — Lights, Fuel & Legends
There are tracks. And then there's Bathurst. Mount Panorama at night is something else entirely. Headlights carving through the darkness, car colours barely visible, the mountain doing what it always does — finding out who's serious.
After stalling on the start. Dropping a couple of spots. It looked like another tough night.
Then the strategy unfolded.
Quietly, methodically, the Wandin V8 Camaro picked its way through the field in a 60-minute endurance battle while others pitted, burned fuel, and chased the race. Wandin just... drove. Patient. Precise. Fuel gauge in the head the whole time.
With two laps to go, leading the race, not pitting, fuel saving, and 2nd place creeping to within 0.6 of a second behind and closing. The fuel was almost gone.
Then the push came on the last lap to stay in front and crossed the line first. Then promptly ran out of fuel doing the donuts. 🍩
That's how you win at Bathurst.
Starting the round in P4 overall, he now sits 3rd in the championship with two rounds remaining. P1 is a big ask — but stranger things have happened. P2 is absolutely on.

🏈 BREAKING NEWS: Wandin's Finest Laces Up
It is with great pride — and significant concern for public safety — that we announce our beloved Club President and self-appointed 1st XI Captain, Bryce Edwards, is pulling on the boots tonight for the Wandin Football Club Veterans game.
Boasting a trophy cabinet that includes multiple Montrose Junior Best & Fairest awards and the illustrious 1987 Carlton Little League title, Bryce has decided the cricket community simply hasn't seen enough of his athletic genius.
We're told he's been stretching since Tuesday.
The bookies will be onsite taking live bets on which quarter the hamstrings go PING. Early odds have Q2 as the favourite, though there's strong money on the warm-up.
Forget the Comedy Festival. Tonight's entertainment is free, local, and entirely unscripted.
