The Tunnack Community Club shares to our members and the surrounding Tunnack community the sad passing of Peter Brumby, Managing Director and Owner of Industrial Fire & Electrical, on Sunday, 14 June 2026 . We thank Peter’s company for sponsoring the weekly 6 pm Friday Night Member Draws over the past couple of years and gratefully acknowledge his contributions of business advice to the committee and his many generous donations to the club. We extend our sincere condolences to Peter’s family, his partner Helen Clark, his friend William Iles and the IFE family. Vale Peter

Regarding the notice posted a couple of days ago saying the Club will be closed on Mondays over the next few months it seems to have drawn some anti comments about the Club which are inappropriate, however, it appears these comments were meant for individuals therefore your comments need to be directed to them not thru the Tunnack Community Club page.

NOTIFICATION OF CLOSING MONDAYS beginning Monday 8th June thru to 4th October 2026.
• Reasons behind this decision are increased prices;
• That patrons are minimal at the being of the week compared to later in the week; and
• Finacial advice says that we should close 1-3 days per week, this extreme we are trying not to do hence the trial closure one day per week which the Committee will re-assess at the end of September 2026.
Should anyone have an event they wish to hold on a Monday please inform us as we are willing to negotiate the day and times needed.
We are sorry if this causes anyone an inconvenience but to keep the Club we need to make changes.
