And they’ve done it again!

Another fantastic baking show straight from the kitchen, with every step explained along the way. It was also a hands-on experience, so everyone could join in and have a go.

This time, the team made delicious homemade lava cakes, and honestly, what could be better for this weather?

A big thank you to our Lifestyle Team, Head Chef Bledi, and the whole kitchen team for making it such a lovely experience.

This week, something truly special happened… something that reminded us just how powerful connection can be 💛

We had the most beautiful visit from two incredible souls — Horace and Waz. 🐴🐴

From the moment they arrived, there was a quiet kind of magic in the air. No words, no expectations… just presence. The kind that slows your heartbeat, softens your thoughts, and gently brings you back to what really matters.

Horace, with his calm and steady spirit, seemed to carry a wisdom that you could feel just standing near him. And Waz… sweet, gentle Waz… had a way of looking at you that made it feel like he could see right into your heart.

For some, it was the first time being so close to a horse. For others, it was a chance to reconnect with something they didn’t even realise they had been missing. But for all of us, it was unforgettable.

These beautiful animals gave more than we could ever ask for — comfort, joy, healing, and a reminder that sometimes, the simplest connections are the most powerful.

Thank you, Horace and Waz, for sharing your gentle spirits with us. You left hoofprints not just on the ground, but on our hearts. ❤️

First visit to Alowyn Gardens 🌿✨

Thursday was extra special, not only did we finally explore these beautiful gardens for the first time, but it was also our first trip using the new bus!

Everything felt like a little adventure… from the journey there to wandering through the stunning seasonal displays, perfectly shaped hedges, and peaceful pathways. The gardens were absolutely worth it — so much autumn colour and calm all in one place.

Safe to say: new bus + new place = a perfect day out 😊

Our CEO, Birgit Goetz, has reached an incredible milestone — 15 years with Martin Luther Homes. What an amazing achievement and a testament to her dedication and leadership.
