Join us for a W.I.L.D. Fishing Expedition at Bonbeach, VIC

Our W.I.L.D. Program has been reworked and is now better than ever, with a stronger focus on creating a therapeutic environment through nature. This group experience is designed to support young people in a meaningful, practical, and engaging way, helping them feel empowered, connected, and able to thrive.
This session is particularly suited to young people aged 15+ who may benefit from support with trauma, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, anxiety, emotional regulation, social connection, confidence, and community participation. We take a respectful, strengths-based, and individualised approach, recognising that every young person is different and that support
should feel safe, practical, and empowering.
What to expect
Learn basic fishing skills
Enjoy a BBQ lunch
Connect with peers in a supportive group setting
Build confidence through outdoor activities
Experience the benefits of nature-based therapeutic support
Strengthen emotional regulation, communication and social skills
Transport options
Young people can be dropped off at The Empower YOUth LAB, 1 Feathertop Ave, Templestowe Lower, for transportation to and from the activity or dropped off and picked up directly from Bonbeach. Alternative transport arrangements may be available; however, additional costs may apply.
Funding and support
This opportunity is open to a range of funding streams, including NDIS, self-funded and
other approved supports.

If a young person requires additional support, a 1:1 support ratio may be needed and costed
separately.
