Manningham Toy Library Open Tuesdays 10:00am to 11:30am, Thursdays 7.00pm to 8:30pm, Fridays 9:30am - 12:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am - 12:30pm. Borrow. Play. Return. Repeat.

Run by its members, the Manningham Toy Library is a friendly place where parents and carers can borrow a large variety of fun, quality educational toys, puzzles and games on a regular basis. Our toys mostly cater for children aged from 3 months to 8 years. Joining has many benefits, including being able to borrow our fabulous party packs. You can apply for membership via our website http://manning

hamtoylibrary.org.au or come and have a look around the library and join up there. Parents, grandparents and carers are eligible to join but unfortunately we do not cater for groups. We accept cash, bank deposit or credit card in person (incurs 2.2% fee). We are closed Easter weekend and over the Christmas/New Year break.

Final call for family portraits - bookings close tomorrow (Thursday). There are still some early afternoon time slots available and the weather is looking good for Sunday 16th August. Photos will take place at picturesque Finns Reserve in Templestowe. Scan the QR code to secure your time slot.

What is our most popular toy? We get asked this question quite often and the Ice Cream Cart is right up there! This toy appeals to children from toddlers to primary school age - it's colourful, interactive and lots of fun. That's why we have five available to loan so that many members can have a turn taking it home. Have you borrowed this toy before?

Thanks to our member Kirsty for sending through this video. It's a combination of a wooden rainbow, pikler slide and wooden balls and we have very similar items you can borrow to recreate this set up!

Don't forget there is still one week left for our pantry food drive. They are especially requesting sweet and dry biscuits but any item on the list would be greatly appreciated by families who need a hand this winter. Items can be dropped at the toy library during our open sessions.

Before returning your toys, we’d really appreciate your help with these three simple steps:

1. Count the pieces – Please check that all parts are included so the next family receives a complete toy.

2. Give it a clean – Wipe down your borrowed toys with an antibacterial wipe or spray before returning them.

3. Pack it away neatly – Returning toys neatly packed makes it much easier for our wonderful volunteers to check everything.

Due to planned electrical works in Swanston Street the toy library will not have access to electricity on Friday 17th July. The session will be closed and any toys due on this day will be renewed for the following Friday. All other sessions will be open as usual this week. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
