The National Timber & Hardware Association (NTHA) is proud to represent 700+ members across Australia from the timber, hardware and building materials industries. Through information, advice and services, NTHA provides its members with practical solutions to improve their business management, growth and profitability. NTHA members receive access to a range of benefits including government represen

tation at State and National levels, industry representation, networking opportunities, development of labour resources through Group Training divisions, group buying discount arrangements, Workplace Health and Safety Inspection services, Industrial Relation advice and also permanent and part-time staff placements through recruitment divisions.

Small business needs practical action — not more complexity.

The 2026 COSBOA National Small Business Summit brought together government, regulators, industry and small business leaders to tackle the issues shaping Australia’s 2.7 million small businesses.

From tax reform and red tape to AI, workforce challenges and productivity, the message was clear: businesses need simpler systems, greater certainty and practical support to grow.

The NTHA team was there to listen, connect and ensure our industry’s voice remains part of the national conversation.

The Summit also celebrated Eddie Griffith, named the 2026 COSBOA National Small Business Champion for more than 25 years of supporting small businesses.
