The countdown is on for the St Leonards Garden Club Open Gardens Day this coming Saturday 2nd November 10am - 4pm.

Keynote Speaker will be Craig Castree who will be presenting at 10.30am at the St Leonards Memorial Hall, Murradoc Road, St Leonards.

Craig is an author, horticulturist and educator in self sufficiency on an urban block. Regular tv presenter on Vasilis garden, Melbourne Radio including 3AW garden show guest and SouthernFM radio digital 88.3. Craig is an award winning horticulturist of 45 years experience at growing his own food organically and creating edible gardens. He is a published author of 6 books all pointed toward being self sufficient on an urban block, Vice President of Werribee Park Heritage Orchard, cheese and bread maker and also charcuterie maker running workshops regularly to pass on the knowledge.
Craig will have his books for sale including his latest SOIL IS NOT A DIRTY WORD.
Tickets available at the Memorial Hall. $10 per adult will get you into hear the guest speakers AND to visit 15 gardens.
