St Leonards, we need your voice.

The State Government’s Bellarine Bus Review is now open, and as a small community we can’t afford to sit this one out.

Larger towns like Ocean Grove, Drysdale and Portarlington – and even Greater Geelong – will naturally generate more submissions. That’s why every single response from St Leonards genuinely counts.

If you want:
- A direct bus to Drysdale, or Drysdale to Ocean Grove
- Safe footpaths and proper bus shelters for our school kids
especially along Murradoc Road ,
- A bus timetable that actually meets the ferry,
- More frequent buses

…then please take five minutes to complete the survey and make sure St Leonards is heard.

💜 Celebrating an Incredible International Women’s Day in St Leonards 💜
What an absolutely fantastic morning we shared yesterday at the St Leonards Bowling Club — over 170 guests coming together to celebrate International Women’s Day at this fantastic venue. The energy, generosity and connection in the room were something truly special.

A huge thank‑you to our community groups, associations and volunteers and sponsors who attended and supported the event. Your presence shows just how strong, caring and united St Leonards is.

A big call out to Dianne Bennett from Sustainable Housing for Older Women Bellearine (SHOW) for her inspiring presentation, and our MC Michelle and music from CLM Acoustic Duo.

And of course, thank you to our St Leonards community. Every conversation, every shared story, every plate of food, every helping hand — it all adds up. When we all give, we all gain.
Here’s to continuing the momentum, lifting each other up, and celebrating the incredible women and girls across the Bellarine.

Tonight COGG made a decision to sell the old CFA site at Dudley Parade. No mention that funds would be reinvested in St Leonards.

It was a beautiful morning on Wednesday to w**d and put a few more plants into the steep slope at Red bluff at the end of Gilbert St. We w**ded, thistles, rye grass etc and planted a wide variety of about 50 indigenous plants. Thanks to Bellarine Bayside and our volunteers.

It was a cool, windy and at times wet morning. 83 plants put in on the foreshore including bidgee widgee, grasses, sedges, pig face etc. tough coastal plants.

It was sad to have to work amongst dog poo. We are trying to make the foreshore better for everyone, help us too, please pick up after your dog. Thanks Bellarine Bayside.
