Salaam dear PSV community,
With the Islamic year ending a couple of days ago, we would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and a wonderful Islamic year. In 1447 AH, PSYG has seen an increase in the range of our events.
Some highlights from this last Islamic year have been:
- the amazing workshops with Sayyid Ali Imran and Sheikh Safdari
- social issues discussion with Sheikh Mohammed Al Chaer
- last year's Karbala hoodies merch drop
- establishment of our social media team
- our 18+ road trips
- PSYG iftar in mahe Ramadhan
- doing three events over two days in April: Sheikh Safdari bonfire and mesh night alongside the Ahlulbait Society event, which PSYG supported
- and of course, around 15 mesh nights requiring constant work throughout the year from a full team, ending it with a banger bonfire
Some events to look forward to in this next Islamic year:
- Ziarat e Ashura social media campaign until Ashura
- a merch drop arriving in a few days
- more workshops
- higher engagement of ulema in mesh nights
We would like to thank the 20 odd volunteers in our 18+, mesh night, finance and social media teams, who have all played a crucial role in this last year being as successful as it has been.
We want to thank the PSV committee for its ongoing support and all the parents who support our programs as well.
Over the next year, we would love to have more 18+ volunteers put their hand up and join us on this journey inshallah.
May Allah (s.w.t) accept our efforts, and our ibadah in these days of mourning.
