Help Nova provide more safe spaces for women and children who are seeking safety and starting over after DV.

Nova has plans to grow to meet the increasing need for women and children to find safe housing after DV or homelessness. Our first step is to open an innovative community hub, where women and children can access the services they need, access our caseworkers, free items like food and toileteries, take a shower or do their laundry, all from one location. We need your help to make sure the Hub is a safe and welcoming space for all clients. Click on the link below to make a tax deductible donation.

Putting culture at the heart of the support of DFV survivors! Congratulations! 🥳

🎉 What an incredible moment for Warlga Ngurra!✨

Last night at the Homelessness NSW Conference Awards 2026, Warlga Ngurra Incorporated was proudly awarded the Champion of Cultural Empowerment Award – and we couldn’t be more proud of our team.
This award recognises the powerful work being done every day to support Aboriginal women, children and families across the Hunter region who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Through culturally safe accommodation, strong advocacy, and culturally led support, Warlga Ngurra continues to stand beside families, strengthen connection to culture, and help create safer, brighter futures.
This recognition reflects the passion, dedication and heart of our incredible staff, our strong leadership, and our committed Board. Every day our team goes above and beyond to walk alongside community with respect, care and cultural strength.
We are so proud of the work being done and honoured to be recognised among so many inspiring organisations across NSW. ❤️🖤💛

Congratulations to our entire Warlga Ngurra team – this achievement belongs to all of you and the community we serve.
